Admin-Player Privilege

Admin-player privilege is a right enjoyed by all players of Gangcraft. It ensures that any information relating to the server that is told to a server operator/admin in confidence will stay private, and cannot be used as intelligence information by an adversary. This allows players to freely request for assistance without compromising their secrets.

Limits and Exceptions

Unlike attorney-client privilege, admin-player privilege does not safeguard the player against violations of server rules. Players that report exploits or cheats to admins should not expect that information to remain confidential in all cases.

Historical Usages

• Prior to the discovery of Stereo's Second Base by other players, Mars was the only player who learned of its existence to troubleshoot with biome mechanics.
• Before Patrick was banned for his terrorist attacks against Stereo's First Base, the location of Patrick's secret base was only shared with Mars.
