East India Trading Company

The East India Trading Company (EITC) is a joint-stock company chartered by the British Empire. The company has unilateral control over some territories in the West Indies, namely Port Royal in Jamaica.

Origins

The EITC was founded by Lord Kiamond Beckett (also known as Mars) on November 11th, 2022 as a means of providing an identity to several industrial projects in the server. The company displayed its own ensign (see right) on its builds after the mapart had been constructed, but prior to that, it operated only under the Union Jack.

After the British Empire began accelerating its development in March 2024, King ROWNIE invested many domestic resources into the EITC, flourishing its growth as a power on the server.

History

The company has created the largest collection of automatic and manual farms in the server, many of which are free to use by all players. Modern farms are now solely built using British resources, but historical builds were often assisted by foreign investors.

The First XP (and Gold) Farm

This first high-scale XP farm on Gangcraft. The farm was built by Mars, but its construction was assisted greatly by Comrade, who provided a majority of the magma blocks that the farm needed to function. As a result, the farm displays two banners at its entrance: the Union Jack and the flag of the People's Republic of China.

In Minecraft 1.20.2, the attack distance of Zombified Piglins was increased, which caused this farm to become inoperable. It was decommissioned in April 2024, but is still used as a gold farm. In April 2025, ROWNIE and Mars renovated the farm to focus solely on gold production.
